Hope you get some answers tomorrow. May be worth asking them if they can put a camera down if the X-rays don't show anything as he will already be under
As a matter of interest has he been eating mud at all?

Hi jo yes I'd say they are. Do you have a suggestion?

The vet decided today they wouldn't x-ray as she really doesn't feel there's a blockage but this might be a result of something that's passed through and damaged his guts so has given tablets to help heal the guts. If no better after this he's got to go to a different vets where they will put a camera down his throat

Definitely no blood. The only thing we noticed the other
Day which hasn't happened before when he was sick was a white yogurt consistency.

Just been out for a nice walk to cheer him up after the vets. Grandad came with Us which he was

Is He being sick with frothy stuff ? If so that's the lining off his stomach. He can have Gaviscon and ranatadine to help.If its an ulcer but you really need to get them to have a look and see what's happening with it.

Mollie has been having problems with sickness lately - once every week or so. just gastric fluid on her first walk of the day.

She had an ultrasound which showed an inflamed pancreas and enlarged gall bladder. She has been put on a low fat diet - now into her third week - so far so good but if the sickness returns she will be having a tube down to examine her stomach and the start of her intestine.

These things are worrying and I do hope Quattro is soon on the mend

ATB

Jon the tablets he's on are for gastric problems. Hope she's ok. Our vet didn't mention an ultra sound.

Does she chew things she shouldn't Jon? Our vet things this is how it's happened but no obstruction now

Yes, Mollie has swallowed stuff she shouldn't but she has never had an obstruction.

I didn't ask the vet if the ultrasound included her stomach, though I suspect it did (she has been shaved right up to her ribs). So I don't think she has an obstruction - her bowels seem fine and she has never vomited food - only the contents of an empty tum. She seems to be on the mend now. Of course, being an excitable staffie, she has never seemed unwell the whole time!

I do hope the vet is able to sort Quattro :)
