I went to my sisters tonight for my hair done and her friend was there with her little staffie boy, meet Alfie - 12 weeks old. He was shattered by the end of the night so ended up asleep in my nieces dolls pram

Tell me about it Jan, I was tempted to sneak him home with me. He was from a litter that was taken to our local shelter as the owner could not cope with them and was moving home

Aww......there are times when I feel I've missed out on the cute puppy stage with Caesar then I remember the mess and things Toby used to destroy - think I'll always adopt older dogs lol!!!

Really super cute though!

He was lovely but hard work, you could not leave anything down at floor level lol

Within 5 minutes he had raided my handbag and was running around the garden with some of the contents in his mouth

I sometimes wonder if we have missed out as all ours (except reubs) have been older rescues. Reuben was only 6 months old so still very young but we missed the puppy stage
