It's very difficult to judge with a young puppy, especially if you know she is picking up some sounds probably be best to check it out at the vets during your next routine visit - is she due for a visit at any time soon?

Just out of curioisty what sort of sounds is she reacting too and what is she not reacting too?

Hi Honey

I have known some breeders to click their fingers to the left ear and then right ear - just behind the ear - the pup will generally turn their head to the sound - give that a try xx

Is she the white one in the picture? if so white coats could indicate that she may have very poor hearing as white coats are linked to deafness or impaired hearing.
I would do the click test and maybe get her checked over at the vets to exclude a physical cause.
Otherwise she may just be a regular staffy who has selective hearing! LOL

Most puppies have selective hearing until you teach them their name, we thought Ruby did until we took her to training. They asked us if she knew her name, we said yes and of course she showed us that she didn't by not turning when we called her name. It does take time. spinner smile

I'd try the click behind the ear and see how you get on and if that fails rustling a packet in the kitchen to see if she responds to that.
If not a quick chat with the vet.
Let us know how you get on
