Bailey is 10 years old today.

Bailey joined our family late November 2001 and today is his 10th Birthday

We drove for over four hours to Manchester to get him after we saw him on a rescue website.

This is him at 4 months old ...sleeping off his first Christmas dinner




He has survived Cancer which cost him an eye at the age of 3 years old, he's suffered the loss of the love of his life Phoebe after 6 1/2 years growing up together. He managed to break his front paw when he was only 6 months old and recovered brilliantly from cruciate surgery to both back legs at the age of 8 years old.

But one of his best stunts to date is an emergency admission to the hospital ..he couldn't / wouldn't walk properly and they suspected spinal cord damage....

.....we collected him the following morning along with a £300 plus bill and a diagnosis of ..constipation.

He is a fantastic dog full of character and life and a joy to live with.

I have never noticed his eye.... bless him, his definitly had a load of drama in his life. Hope things have calmed down for him now to live his older days in peace.
