Diesel Has Check Up On Saturday

Diesel will be at the vets on Saturday to check on his prostate from his early operation a few months ago.

We're hoping that the prostate has reduced in size as the castration will have stopped the hormones been produced.

Whilst Diesel is there, he will also have 3 bumps / lumps which we have found, only really small, but we'd like to know what these are, he has one on his back, one under his armpit and the other on his front leg.

Vet said the prostate has reduced a little - so that's a step in the right direction, another check up in 3 months time.

The 3 lumps were also looked at - 2 as we thought were skin tags, so no further test required.

The one on his back, we're all unsure of so Diesel had the needle inserted to draw fluid, this has now been sent off to the lab - we should have those results back by Friday

Fingers crossed the tests all come back clear

More good news - the tests came back - no signs of cancer - it is a small cyst - so we are going to monitor it.

It's not the type of cyst that needs draining though - so if it grows then we need to see the vet again
