We look a rough lot in the last picture (not Keith) but it was quite windy and hard to look poised

Ruby Elsdon and Elli loved it. It was worth the hike for the beautiful views plus we had really good company. Keith has a wicked sense of humour.

Thanks Jo, good to hear you two enjoyed yourselves up there too. We didn't manage to get into a pub in Cockermouth for a few beers but I thought the place was really nice and would definitely go back.

We went into a couple of pubs, we went in one during the day with the dogs and then Linda babysat one night so we could have a meal, they were both lovely

It was really nice to get up in a morning and look at those views, it really chills you, time slows down and nothing in particular is important.

Jo, next time we will take the dogs into a pub or two, the bus service ran right outside the campsite but I needed heavy shopping so didn't want to carry it about.
